Chrishell Stause and G Flip Split After More Than Four Years Together: ‘I Will Always Love G’
After more than four years together, Chrishell Stause and Australian musician G Flip have ended their relationship, bringing an emotional chapter of their lives to a close.
Love does not always end when the feelings fade. Sometimes, two people can share beautiful memories, build a life together, and still find themselves walking separate paths.
That appears to be the reality for Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause and Australian musician G Flip, who have announced the end of their relationship after more than four years together.
According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE, G Flip initiated the breakup. TMZ was the first to report that the musician, 33, was the one who ended the relationship. A representative for G Flip declined to comment.
Stause, 45, shared the heartbreaking news in an emotional Instagram video on Monday, October 26, describing the separation as a painful experience she is still trying to understand and process.
“I have a pretty humbling update to share with you guys. G and I are no longer together,” she began.
Despite the end of their relationship, Stause explained that they had agreed to approach the separation with love and respect for one another.
“That’s not hard for me because I am in love with this person, and I don’t have all the information or the reasons,” she said.
Her words offered a glimpse into the difficult reality of letting go of someone you still love, particularly when the ending is different from what you had imagined.
‘I Feel Like a Little Bit of a Failure’
For Stause, the breakup has brought emotional pain and self-reflection. While she believes she will eventually learn from the experience, she admitted that navigating the present moment has been difficult.
“I feel like a little bit of a failure. There’s nothing you could say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself,” she shared.
“I just have to kind of heal and figure this out. It’s hard. It’s painful.”
The reality television star also reflected on her approach to love, describing herself as someone who embraces relationships wholeheartedly, even when doing so leaves her vulnerable to heartbreak.
“I’m a lover girl. I swing big. I miss,” she said.
However, Stause also considered the possibility that the end of a relationship does not necessarily mean the relationship itself was a mistake.
“Or maybe you don’t miss, maybe these are the life and seasons you’re meant to have with people, and I had an amazing over four years with G,” she continued.
“Maybe that’s not a miss, you know. Maybe it’s just coming to terms with it being a different ending than you had imagined.”
It was a poignant reflection on love, loss, and the possibility of appreciating what a relationship brought into your life, even when it does not last forever.
Stause concluded her announcement by reaffirming her love for G Flip and expressing her hope that they would both find happiness.
“I will always love G, and I don’t ever really see that changing,” she said. “This sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy and I wish that for both of us, so thank you.”
G Flip Breaks Their Silence
G Flip, whose birth name is Georgia Flipo, also addressed the separation in a social media post, confirming that the relationship had come to an end.
“After 4+ years Chrishell and I are no longer together. I will always love her, we will always share a special connection and I cherish our memories together deeply,” the musician wrote.
G Flip also acknowledged the emotional weight of the separation, asking fans for understanding and privacy as they navigated the difficult period.
“My head & heart are feeling very heavy right now, and I’m not able to talk, but I want to thank you all for your support and appreciate you respecting our privacy at this difficult time,” they added.
Although neither has publicly detailed all the circumstances surrounding the breakup, both have expressed love for one another and appreciation for the time they shared.
A Love Story That Challenged Expectations
Stause and G Flip’s relationship first became public in May 2022, when Stause revealed their romance during the Selling Sunset reunion.
Their relationship attracted considerable attention, partly because of its timing and the circumstances surrounding their meeting.
The pair met on Halloween in 2021, while Stause was still dating her former partner, Jason Oppenheim, and G Flip was also in a relationship.
Five months before revealing her relationship with G Flip, Stause had announced her separation from Oppenheim.
Despite the attention surrounding their romance, the couple continued to build their relationship and eventually exchanged vows in a private wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in May 2023.
Their wedding was an intimate affair, arranged so quickly that their families had little time to prepare. In a 2025 interview with PEOPLE, G Flip revealed that they subsequently held additional ceremonies to give more of their loved ones the opportunity to celebrate with them.
“So we did three in a row, and then we were like, ‘We may as well just do this every year and make it a tradition,’” they recalled.
For a couple whose relationship had attracted public curiosity from the beginning, their decision to celebrate their union in different ways reflected their desire to share the occasion with the people closest to them.
Dreams of Building a Family
Beyond their romance, Stause and G Flip had also spoken openly about their hopes of starting a family together.
Their journey through in vitro fertilisation (IVF) brought its own emotional challenges, which G Flip discussed candidly in a 2025 interview with PEOPLE.
The musician described the process as an experience marked by alternating moments of hope, disappointment, and uncertainty.
“For anyone going through IVF — queer or straight couples or anyone not even in a couple, just even on their own — it’s such a hard thing,” G Flip said.
“And we’re experiencing the real kind of sad and dark periods of this moment, where it’s like, a little bit of good news, a lot of bad news, a little bit of hope, no hope.”
At the time, G Flip emphasised the importance of supporting one another through the difficulties of the process.
“In the end, you’ve got to lean on each other and be there for each other, and come out of it still a unit and try not to let it break the relationship or break people individually,” they added.
Their openness about the experience offered insight into a deeply personal part of their lives, one that involved not only their hopes for the future but also the challenges that can accompany the journey towards parenthood.
Life Beyond the Relationship
While their relationship brought them into the public spotlight as a couple, both Stause and G Flip have continued to pursue their individual careers.
G Flip appeared alongside Stause on Selling Sunset, the Netflix reality series in which she starred for nine seasons before announcing her departure in November 2025.
However, the musician admitted that appearing on the show was far from comfortable.
“Every scene I’m in, I’m secretly hating it,” G Flip told PEOPLE in 2025.
They explained that being filmed continuously made it difficult to feel completely at ease, even while acknowledging the cast’s ability to navigate the experience.
“It’s not fun, and I admire all of them so much for being able to be comfortable, trying to be yourself with eight cameras around you. That s— is hard,” they said.
Stause also spoke about her decision to leave the series, revealing in a November 2025 interview with Bustle that the experience had begun to affect her mental health.
“I’ve gotten to a place where I don’t need the show financially,” she said. “I’m lucky to have other forms of employment, because it’s no longer good for my mental health.”
Beyond reality television, Stause has appeared in the Lifetime film A Rose for Her Grave: The Randy Roth Story and the Australian soap opera Neighbours.
G Flip, meanwhile, released their third studio album, Dreamers, in 2025 and has continued pursuing their music career, including touring in Australia.
When Love Takes a Different Turn
The end of Stause and G Flip’s relationship marks the close of a significant chapter for two people who shared more than four years of love, marriage, personal milestones, and hopes for the future.
While the circumstances surrounding their separation remain largely private, their public statements reveal a shared appreciation for the relationship and the memories they created together.
For Stause, the experience is one she must now navigate through healing and self-reflection. For G Flip, it is a difficult period that calls for privacy and space.
Their story is also a reminder that the end of a relationship does not automatically erase the meaning of what came before it.
Sometimes, a relationship can be genuine, beautiful, and deeply significant without lasting a lifetime. The memories remain, the lessons endure, and the love that once existed can still hold meaning, even when two people choose different paths.
As Stause expressed in her announcement, she continues to love G Flip and wishes happiness for them both.
For now, the former couple appears focused on navigating this transition privately, carrying with them the experiences and memories of the years they shared.
